Okuyama Park is known as the main venue for the NAHA Marathon, which is held every December and in which more than 20,000 people participate. The park is equipped with a variety of facilities, including a track and field stadium and a multipurpose plaza. The park also has a marathon course and playground facilities for the enjoyment of both children and adults. The Kita-Meiji Bridge, which is a pedestrian-only road, is directly connected to Yui Rail Tsubokawa Station for easy access. Professional baseball teams visit the park every February for their camps, and various other events are also held here.
